The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009, and for Mac OS X  on December 21, 2009.&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dragon Age: Origins uses a new game engine named Eclipse, for which a toolset for creation of fan-made content is available to owners of the PC version. BioWare co-CEO Ray Muzyka described Dragon Age: Origins as a "spiritual successor" to the Baldur's Gate series, though it is not based on Dungeons &amp; Dragons.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The game is set in a fantasy setting with magic and swords, and has multiple downloadable content (DLC) packs available, adding additional content. An expansion, Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening, was released on March 16, 2010. The game was received positively by critics, with the average review scores being in the high eighties and low nineties. Dragon Age Origins won a range of awards from multiple sources, ranging from "Best RPG of the Year 2009" to "Best PC game of the Year 2009", and Gamespot named the game as being one of the best gifts to buy for the Christmas season of 2009.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Building upon the games storyline, BioWare has also released two novels, Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne and Dragon Age: The Calling, based within the in-game universe, alongside a three episode series of flash games. God of War III, however, will not be the last God of War game. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Ultimate Edition was announced on October 30, 2009, and will include exclusive content. Mashing on buttons to make the screen erupt with sparkling superpowers and flashy martial arts squirms into the pleasure center of the brain, and once you succumb to the innate delights, it's hard to tear yourself away. For better and for worse, this sequel to 2006's action role-playing game is highly reminiscent of its predecessor: it's packed with heroes and villains culled from the Marvel Universe, brims with button-tapping glee, and suffers from occasional and annoying technical idiosyncrasies. Its improvements to the formula can't be ignored, however. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 is easier to look at and features an intriguing character dialogue component. It also ties the heroic crew together with a much more intriguing story based on the Marvel Civil War miniseries, though comic fans should note that it takes more than a few liberties with that narrative. Plants are often trimmed to obtain the desired shape, and they can be positioned by tying them in place inconspicuously with thread. Most serious aquascapers use aquarium-safe fertilizers, commonly in liquid or tablet form, to help the plants fill out more rapidly. Some aquarium substrates containing laterite also provide nutrients.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is also necessary to support photosynthesis, by providing light and carbon dioxide. A variety of lighting systems may be used to produce the full spectrum of light, usually at 2–4 watts per gallon (0.5–1 watts per litre). Lights are usually controlled by a timer that allows the plants to be acclimated to a set cycle. Depending on the number of plants and fish, the aquascape may also require carbon dioxide supplementation. This can be accomplished with a simple homemade system, using a soda bottle filled with yeast, warm water, and sugar, and connected to an airstone in the aquarium, or with a pressurized CO2 tank that injects a set amount of carbon dioxide into the aquarium water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Algae (including cyanobacteria, as well as true algae) is considered distracting and unwanted in aquascaping, and is controlled in several ways. One is the use of animals that consume algae, such as some fish (notably cyprinids of the genera Crossocheilus and Gyrinocheilus, and catfish of the genera Ancistrus, Hypostomus, and Otocinclus), shrimp, or snails, to clean the algae that collects on the leaves. A second is using adequate light and CO2 to promote rapid growth of desired plants, while controlling nutrient levels, to ensure that the plants utilize all fertilizer without leaving nutrients to support algae.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Although serious aquascapers often use a considerable amount of equipment to provide lighting, filtration, and CO2 supplementation to the tank, some hobbyists choose instead to maintain plants with a minimum of technology, and some have reported success in producing lush plant growth this way. This approach can include the use of soil in place of aquarium gravel, the elimination of CO2 apparatus and most filtration, and limited lighting.
